Several years ago, local music legend Jeff Berkley discovered the Sternberg Museum of Natural History in Hayes, Kansas – a museum with a unique, underground room with rounded walls and reverberation so stunning it turns sound into an experience. In 2025, Jeff took a group of musicians to the museum and recorded The Paleoverb Project Volume 1, and this fall, a different group of musicians will travel there to create Volume 2. Jeff and these musicians — Stucky Leigh, Please Ask for Paul, Veronica May, Julia Sage, King Taylor Project, and Lindsay White — will present an exclusive concert for San Diego Folk Heritage of songs this groundbreaking project!
