Gráinne Hunt is an extraordinary performer with a captivating voice, and enchants audiences with her heart-melting vocals. She has shared stages with renowned musicians like Glen Hansard and U2 and has opened for Mary Black, Declan O’Rourke, Eagle Eye Cherry, and Kane Brown. Notably, she had the honor of opening for Gladys Knight in Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre over four nights, is just off stage from the Cambridge Folk Festival (UK) and Haldern Pop Festival (DE).
Gráinne’s powerful voice blends huskiness with vulnerability, making her a standout among Ireland’s female vocalists and songwriters. Comparisons have been drawn to Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant, and Dolores O’Riordan. Jules Stewart, stalwart drummer of the San Diego indie music scene, and Amy Day, half of the Spiritual Motels who have played for us, will join Gráinne, reprising their collaboration at this year’s Folk Alliance showcase.
Stucky Leigh, a cool new San Diego collaboration with Will Stucky and Lauren Leigh, will open the evening.
