San Diego Folk Heritage welcomes back performers and audience members for our annual Train Song Festival! There will be engines running around the park courtesy of Poway-Midland Railroad (for a nominal fee that supports the railroad), model trains, and some of San Diego’s best musical talent on the Gazebo Stage from 10 am to 4 pm. Make sure to check out the Farmers Market from 8 am to 1 pm and the Artisan Market from 8 am to 2 pm in Old Poway Park.

10:00 am: Tyler Stamets is a lifelong musician, songwriter, and performer who grew up in the mountain town of Julian. His style is an eclectic mix of unexpected covers and heartfelt originals with a folk and bluegrass flair.
11:00 am: Kismet brought the Bella Lunas together: Rhea, an ASL interpreter; Sheena, a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult); and Lily, a Deaf artist. Their collaborative musical expression creates a mesmerizing experience you can see, hear, and feel.
Noon: JT Moring is a dynamic entertainer known for incisive songs and stories with audience engagement. He will be joined by local musicians Cara Cormier, Richie Strell, and Terry Wardell.
1:00 pm: Birds on a Train is an indie-folk band that loves good melodies and works to deliver them in unexpected ways. They are known for tight harmonies, whimsical tastes, and an irreverence for everything but the good green earth. This trio includes Kristen Maher, Jessica Barlow, and Bonnie Nichols.
2:00 pm: With tuneful, thoughtful and melodic songs, adroit playing, and excellent singing, Joe Rathburn has been entertaining the San Diego community (particularly Padres fans) for over 40 years.
3:00 pm: The Art Street Boys are a San Diego-based musical group that performs original music, in the folk-rock style of the 1960s, using unique instrumentation and fine vocals blend to present a sweet and fun experience for the listener.
